Saturday 4 April 2026 – Limburgerhof sends greetings to Sri Lanka – A special moment of solidarity: when Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido raises a toast to its 39th anniversary at 1.00 pm in Limburgerhof, the celebrations will continue simultaneously over 8,000 kilometres away. Whilst members back home celebrate the community’s nearly four-decade-long existence, founder Christian Wiederanders is marking the special day together with a tour group from Limburgerhof in distant Sri Lanka. There, the delegation will be taking part in an intensive training camp to bring the values and techniques of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido closer to the source of their Far Eastern inspiration. Despite the geographical distance, the two groups are connected via a live link. The fact that we can celebrate this anniversary simultaneously in two locations around the world demonstrates the strength of our community. For 39 years, the club in Limburgerhof has stood not only for sporting excellence, but also for cultural exchange and discipline in action. In addition, the 7th Muay Thai Combat Fight Night will take place at 16:30 (Sri Lankan time) or 13:00 German time, in which Tristan from Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Limburgerhof e.V. will also be participating. Due to the Easter holidays and the short notice, this event will take place in the Carl-Bosch-Halle/Gymnastics Hall. The contact person on site is Sensei Thorsten Klein. Please register online here by 8.00 pm on Wednesday 1 April at the latest!
