500 hours of training, rigorous assessments and internationally recognised quality standards – a valuable addition to the training and professional development programmes at Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido. Sabina Nezirovic has reached a significant milestone in her professional and personal development: she has successfully completed her comprehensive yoga teacher training, comprising 500 hours of instruction. The training was completed in accordance with the standards of the AYA (American Yoga Alliance). The qualification is based on the internationally recognised standards of the Yoga Alliance (USA), one of the world’s best-known organisations for the registration and quality assurance of yoga teachers. The demanding training programme comprises a total of 500 training hours, covering both theoretical and practical teaching content. These include yoga techniques and postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation, anatomy, physiology, yoga philosophy, the fundamentals of Ayurveda, as well as teaching methodology and practical teaching skills. The training standards also require the respective training institution to assess the knowledge and skills acquired.

Yoga – a holistic connection between body and mind

Yoga is a millennia-old discipline, originally from India, which combines physical exercises, conscious breathing, concentration and meditation. The aim is to promote flexibility, strength, body awareness and inner balance. In addition to the physical aspects, the focus is particularly on mindfulness, self-awareness and the conscious connection between body and mind. This means there are numerous points of overlap with the holistic training principles of Tatsu-Ryu Bushido, in which concentration, self-discipline, respect and personal development play an important role alongside physical abilities.

A conscious decision in favour of international training standards

When choosing a training programme, it was particularly important to Sabina to select a provider whose programme complies with the internationally established standards of the Yoga Alliance. The aim was not only to complete a sound, specialist training course, but also to acquire a qualification that is recognised and accepted beyond national borders. This international focus lays an important foundation for offering yoga in a professional and qualified manner within an international context in the future. RYT500 registration is an internationally recognised qualification for yoga teachers.

An asset to training and further education at Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido

With her expanded knowledge and skills, Sabina brings valuable additional expertise to the training and further education programmes at Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido. In particular, the areas of body awareness, flexibility, breathing techniques, relaxation and mental concentration offer valuable opportunities to enhance existing training programmes. The combination of traditional martial arts with selected elements of yoga can provide new impetus for a holistic and health-oriented approach to teaching – both in working with children and young people, as well as with adults, and in the further training of instructors. Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido warmly congratulates Sabina Nezirovic on this special achievement. Her commitment, perseverance and willingness to engage in continuous professional development are a valuable contribution to the further development of training standards. We wish her much joy, success and numerous inspiring encounters on her future path as a yoga teacher – including beyond national borders.
