Gentle training for body and mind is called Aroha, the group training from the Maori language. At Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido, the instructors continue to develop. Sabina Nezirovic, instructor B-Prevention, completed her training to become an Aroha instructor in Offenbach am Main via the DTB Hessen. AROHA is a martial arts workout that emphasises stamina and is set to specially composed Maori music in ¾ time. Simple step sequences and arm movements are performed to enable participants to follow the entire class effectively. Large muscle groups are moved at medium intensity, which has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. Alternating tense and relaxing elements are performed, which are experienced as particularly flowing due to the ¾ beat of the AROHA music. Furthermore, hidden energies are released and give the soul a feeling of well-being. The name Aroha comes from the New Zealand word for love. The training concept was developed by a sports scientist from Berlin. Aroha is a course that anyone of any age and fitness level can take part in without any previous knowledge. The Maori say Haere Mai, which means welcome, come in.
