On Friday, 13 June 2025, the Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Neuhofen e. V. held its first public training session. Guests from the local clubs in Mutterstadt and Limburgerhof were also invited to the grand opening of the dojo. Among others, the chairpersons of the clubs from Mutterstadt, Limburgerhof and, of course, Neuhofen were present – which is not surprising, as the course instructor in Neuhofen, Ute Kreischer, is also a member of the board of the local club Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Limburgerhof e. V.. The training was opened by the chairman of the Neuhofen local club, Senpai Martin Paetz. He will be supporting the training on site in the coming weeks. Sabina Nezirovic from the regional association Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Rheinland-Pfalz e.V. and Christian Wiederanders from the national association Deutsche Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Kai e.V. also attended the opening. The training programme in Neuhofen is aimed primarily at older people and those with physical limitations, but also at people who simply do not feel fit and want to do something for their posture and health. Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Neuhofen e. V. trains on Fridays at 5:30 p.m. in the Bühnensporthalle in Neuhofen. Entrance via the sports entrance to the Rehbachhalle. Course instructor Ute takes a lot of time to offer age-appropriate warm-up training and gives participants a gentle introduction to traditional Japanese martial arts. In their very first lesson, the new trial students from Neuhofen were able to practise footwork, unarmed techniques, exercises with a short stick and, of course, the Japanese (wooden) sword. We are delighted to be able to offer this new training programme to interested parties and club members from the surrounding areas. It’s great that the club can now cater even better to seniors and people with disabilities!
