On Saturday, 5 April 2025, Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Mutterstadt e.V. was in Heidelberg for the launch of the Sports Club of the Future initiative. With 20 clubs from the region, the project work began in the Sports Club of the Future initiative. After a general introduction of the organisers and the framework conditions, the sports clubs and their project teams introduced themselves. Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Mutterstadt is in the running with Julia Arz, board member Fabian Birkle, Martin Paetz and Markus Schlereth. Our project over the next 18 months is to develop a learning platform for club members. The objectives are to reduce the workload of officials, transfer the career points system, provide learning content for members and make the content available in German and English. The first draft of the project plan is ready. A short introduction to the available software tools will soon be organised for the project team. Then the development work can begin. Both members and interested parties should benefit from the content, which will be broken down according to performance level. Exam preparation and exercises at home will then be even easier, and theory can also be accessed 24 hours a day. The project plan will be finalised by Friday, 2 May 2025. In the week of 19–22 May, the Sports Club of the Future initiative team will visit the clubs to advance the project work in the focus groups on sports programmes, organisation, membership and communication.
