Thank you for the great interest in the query as to whether we will participate in this year’s carnival parade in Mutterstadt. For the time being, we have a maximum of 25 seats available! Be there for an unprecedented experience, where we will present the diversity and fascination of the Japanese martial art Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido together at the carnival parade on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Mutterstadt. The organizer of the parade is the municipality of Mutterstadt with organizational support from the MCV “Die Geeßtreiwer”. We will meet at 1:00 p.m. to line up in Mutterstadt on Blockfeldstraße. From there, the procession will set off at 2:11 p.m. in the direction of Neustadter Straße, via Bohligstraße, to Messplatz. A street carnival will take place on the forecourt of the Palatinum (Herrmann-Belzner-Platz). Our motto is: “Learn Japanese martial arts with and without wooden weapons in a fun and passionate community.” We want to participate in Gi or Hakama and Haori. Please remember to wear warm clothes under the Gi/Hakama and suitable warm shoes, as it can be cool that day. For safety reasons, we would like to refrain from carrying wooden weapons. This event is open to everyone, including children aged 6 and up, who can participate when accompanied by their parents or other caregivers. However, since the trainers/instructors/assistants are involved in the demonstration themselves, parents are still responsible for supervising their children. The event organizer has set some important conditions for participation that we must adhere to. In case of non-compliance, the train leader can be removed from the train.
- The instructions of police officers, as well as the train management and the stewards, must be followed.
- There is an absolute ban on alcohol for all train participants!
- Cannons may only be carried as decorations and not in working order.
- The scattering of confetti and the firing of fireworks is prohibited.
- Throwable material must be packed in small quantities and without dangerous objects.
Waste must be disposed of properly.
