While Saiko-Shihan Christian Wiederanders leads the Samurai-Camp in the picturesque setting of Sri Lanka, the participants in Limburgerhof had the opportunity to take part in this unique training in parallel. On Saturday, December 14, a special event was held in the chapel in the park, where Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido participants had the opportunity to connect live with the camp and actively participate in the training. After the broadcast, the participants were treated to in-depth basic training under the guidance of Sensei Thorsten Klein, who passed on his extensive knowledge and experience with great commitment. The training offered not only technical insights into martial arts, but also valuable lessons on discipline and concentration. The crowning finale was an inspiring lesson in Zen and meditation, presented by Sensei Timo Gartner. Here, participants were able to learn about the art of inner peace and mindfulness – essential elements that are not only important in martial arts, but also in everyday life. A special highlight for all those interested is that Fabian Birkle, who will be taking part in May 2024, will also be attending the next Samurai Camp in mid-March 2025. Training days will be offered at three different locations in Sri Lanka, catering to both beginners and advanced students. Anyone interested in taking part in this unforgettable experience is cordially invited to contact Fabian directly. Take the opportunity and become part of a unique journey that combines body, mind and soul. Be part of it and experience the fascination of the samurai spirit up close!
