During a special training session on May 29, 2026, at Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido in Neuhofen, the primary focus for seniors and participants with physical disabilities was on defense and protection techniques. Participants practiced various ways to behave correctly in dangerous situations, fend off attacks, and protect themselves. Falling techniques were also trained in order to safely intercept falls and prevent injuries. Another focus was on simple defense techniques, such as countering close-range attacks or targeted defense through quick reactions—for example, using defense spray to the face for self-defense. In addition to practical exercises, the martial art of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido conveys important values for everyday life. It strengthens self-confidence, promotes personal development, and helps individuals break free from the victim role. The goal is to provide participants with greater safety, self-assurance, and inner strength for their journey ahead.
