35 years ago, almost to the day, on January 21, 1991, the Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Limburgerhof e.V. club was founded. At that time, the club was not yet known by this name, but rather grew out of a martial arts club and leisure group that had been active in Limburgerhof since 1987. Since then, we have experienced a great deal: outdoor training, community festivals, Bushido galas, group trips, international martial arts camps, conventions, trade fairs, medieval markets, and samurai camps. Since the club’s founding, continuous emphasis has been placed on development and improvement. As a result, Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido and its officials have received numerous awards: for example, the seals of approval “Child- and Youth-Friendly Sports Club,” “Sport-Pro-Health,” and “German Standard Prevention.” We have also been honored with prizes such as the “Palatinate Prize,” the “Sportvereint” award from the Dietmar Hopp Foundation, and honorary pins from the German Sports Federation. Even today, we have active members in the club who have been with us since the very beginning, most notably Christian Wiederanders, the founder of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido. Many people have accompanied us on our journey so far – and every year we welcome new members who enrich our community. 2025 was an exceptionally strong year for us, and we are confident that 2026 will be even better. We look forward to many exciting events this year! If you would like to join: You can start anytime, with a four-week free trial. Register here: https://tatsu-ryu-bushido.com/trial-membership/
