A special closing event took place on Sunday, 5 October 2025, in the Carl Bosch Gymnasium in Limburgerhof. For the Nicht-mit-mir (NIMI) basic course NR35, a joint closing event with the children and their parents took place for the first time in a long time. First, the 20 children registered for the Nicht-mit-mir basic course were allowed to practise what they had learned again. At 11 a.m., the parents and other family members joined in to watch the final demonstration of what the children had learned. Scenes such as saying ‘no,’ getting help from others and asking adults for help, as well as falling without hurting themselves and freeing themselves from a grip were shown. The children were even able to demonstrate falling outside the hall on the asphalt. For the finale, the children broke wooden boards – the boards were inscribed by course instructors Julia Arz, Angela Walter and Christian Grünert and could be taken home as souvenirs. The children’s pride was impossible to overlook. Afterwards, there was coffee and cake. Many thanks again to all the parents who donated cakes!
