Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido at work for the region: Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido isn’t just about what happens on the mat – it is a matter close to our hearts to have a positive impact on the surrounding communities and the entire region. A particularly fine example of this social commitment is our work in the field of workplace sport. Several of our members volunteer their free time and expertise to regional companies, leading bespoke exercise programmes there. Modern working life takes its toll – prolonged sitting and repetitive postures quickly lead to muscle tension. This is precisely where our trainers come in. With a programme specially adapted for the workplace, they specifically promote flexibility and improve employees’ posture. The training combines traditional principles of our martial art with modern insights into sports health. A key element that has also proved popular in the workplace is the so-called ‘warm-up kata’. This set sequence of flowing movements is ideal for: gently mobilising the joints, activating the deep muscles and clearing the mind after intense hours of work. We are proud of our members, who organise this programme entirely on a voluntary basis. They bring the values of Tatsu-Ryu Bushido – respect, discipline and community – directly into the local economy and actively contribute to the health of the local community. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their fantastic commitment!
