With summer temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, a special training session took place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, at the Carl-Bosch-Halle in Limburgerhof with photographer Rafael Respeto, better known as ‘FotogRafael’. This was an opportunity for our club members to experience a special and unique photo shoot. Rafael, who is known to many from the local nurseries and schools as an enthusiastic photographer of nursery, school and family photos, supported our club with his great passion for photography. Some of our instructors have known him for a long time and were delighted by his presence. During the training session, Rafael took both new profile pictures of the martial artists in their gi and hakama, as well as dynamic, action-packed shots of them in action. The participants were able to express their individual wishes, as Rafael was open to their own ideas and implemented them creatively. This special session was a lovely addition to our regular training sessions and enabled all members to receive professional photos of themselves and their skills. The organisation ran smoothly, and despite the heat, the atmosphere in the hall was characterised by enthusiasm and sporting ambition, underscored by Rafael’s trained eye for the perfect moment.
