On Sunday, May 10, 2026, another Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido instructor training course was held on the topics of anatomy and strength training. Led by Sensei Timo Gartner, this course covered both theoretical fundamentals and practical exercises designed to help instructors support their students in an even more targeted and effective manner.
The course began with a focus on anatomy. Participants received a detailed and clear overview of the human musculoskeletal system, specifically tailored to the requirements of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido. The analysis focused primarily on muscles, joints, and their functions. The instructors explained how different muscle groups work together and the importance of proper posture in this context. This knowledge is essential for trainers to prevent injuries and maximize training success.

Mehr InformationenDuring the practical session, participants were able to directly apply what they had learned. Under guidance, they performed exercises that included both isolated strengthening of specific muscle groups and functional training methods designed to specifically support the movement patterns of Tatsu-Ryu Bushido. Particular attention was paid to proper form and control to prevent improper strain. Partner exercises were also used to combine strength development and technique under realistic conditions.
Another important aspect was the individual guidance provided to students. The trainers learned how to identify weaknesses and deficits based on anatomical knowledge and observation of movement, and how to create tailored training plans. This promotes not only performance but also safety.
In summary, the trainer course was once again a complete success. The combination of in-depth expertise and practical exercises enables the trainers to design their training programs in an even more professional and targeted manner. Through in-depth study of anatomy and strength training, not only is the students’ performance enhanced in the long term, but the risk of injury is also significantly reduced. Thus, this course contributes significantly to the further development of Tatsu-Ryu Bushido and sustainably strengthens the training level in the affiliated clubs.
