On 23 November 2025, the last self-defence for women basic course and training session took place under the auspices of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido. On 20 September 2025, a meeting was held with Timo Gartner, Thorsten Klein and Christian Wiederanders on the topic of ‘self-defence’ in order to better offer the future of the concept created by Timo Gartner independently under a new umbrella. From 2026, a new association will start with new adventure offers and self-defence courses. The Reality Adventure and Experience Association offers numerous courses that go far beyond self-defence. The self-defence courses that took place under the umbrella of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido in 2024 and 2025 will continue to be offered here in the future. This is an important step in continuing to offer the programme under its own branding and developing it in a focused manner. Accordingly, self-defence training for women will also take place there. Members who have previously participated in self-defence training free of charge and would like to continue participating will be informed of the conditions accordingly.
