In 2025, several international martial arts legends visited Cologne. Stars from martial arts films of the 1980s, such as the Karate Tiger films, Cynthia Rothrock, Jeff Speakman and Michael Worth, appeared in an event room at the Hilton Cologne. As was the case last year, the main guest this time was Bolo Yeung, who achieved cult status in many films such as ‘Bloodsport’, “Shootfighter” and ‘Double Impact’. He was also a friend of martial arts legend Bruce Lee and starred alongside him in the film ‘The Man with the Golden Arm’. The limited event was small but exquisite: The star guests sat in a separate room at the Hilton Hotel and diligently signed autographs for visitors, who not only had autograph cards or posters signed, but also personal items or DVDs, including personal dedications. In addition, martial arts DVDs were available for purchase at two DVD stands, including films from the Karate Tiger series. The stars enjoyed signing autographs and chatting with their fans. Later, visitors had the opportunity to take a photo with their favourite star. After four hours, the fans went home happy with their autographs and photos. As this was not a one-off event, everyone is eagerly awaiting a sequel.
