This coming Friday, 25 April 2025, the first Nicht-mit-mir (NIMI) Protect Yourself from Violence complete course will start in Ettlingen-Bruchhausen. There are still a few places available! This exciting course is aimed at children in the 3rd and 4th grades of primary school and consists of a total of 12 learning units. Certified Nicht-mit-mir course instructor Timo Gartner will lead the course together with dedicated assistant instructors.

‘Nicht mit mir – Schütz dich vor Gewalt!’ (Not with me – protect yourself from violence!) is a multi-award-winning German prevention, self-assertion and self-defence concept that helps children and young people to protect themselves against violence and act with confidence. In this course, children learn important skills that will support them in difficult situations.

Only trained, licensed and competent instructors with relevant experience teach the concept to course participants in an age- and target group-oriented manner. This also includes regular checks of an extended police clearance certificate for all instructors. The course is designed to help children avoid danger, recognise dangerous situations and defend themselves in an emergency. With our violence prevention project, we want to help children and young people grow into self-confident, strong personalities.
