On Friday, 21 February 2025, the fully booked basic course number 33 of the prevention programme ‘Not with me – Protect yourself from violence!’ took place in the schoolyard of the Carl Bosch School. This special course day was held against the backdrop of the upcoming elections, which further lightened the atmosphere. Unfortunately, not all of the registered participants were able to attend due to illness. Nevertheless, the children took the opportunity to consolidate the knowledge they had learnt in practical exercises and under stressful situations. It was impressive to see how confidently the children applied their techniques and interacted with each other. As the highlight of the day, the participants received certificates at the end, symbolising their commitment and progress. The joy and pride were clearly visible on the children’s faces. For anyone who missed this course or would like to deepen their knowledge, there are already plans for a continuation of the basic course. The next course will take place in September 2025 in Limburgerhof, and interested parents should hurry: Half of the places have already been allocated! ‘Not with me’ is a nationally recognised and multi-award-winning concept for prevention and self-defence for children and young people. It is taught exclusively by trained, licensed and experienced instructors who ensure that the content is age-appropriate and target group-orientated.
