The 17th Ajukate Benefit Seminar in Bochum was an outstanding event that took place on Saturday, 1 February 2025 and has been continuing its tradition since 2009. From the very beginning, this seminar has been under the dedicated organisation of Martina and Thomas Beyer and Markus Eßer, who work tirelessly to make this beautiful event happen. It is impressive to see how their shared passion for martial arts and willingness to help has grown over the years. This year, participants were able to benefit from the expertise of three outstanding speakers: Wolfram M. Walter, who presented the art of Takemusu Aikido, Henning Hacke, who provided insights into ATK-SV, and Nico Weiland, who introduced the techniques of Jiu-Jitsu. With an extensive 6-hour seminar, they offered participants the opportunity not only to expand their skills, but also to learn from each other and exchange ideas. In addition to the intensive and educational seminar, the physical well-being of the participants was also taken care of. They enjoyed a variety of tasty treats that made the event a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Particularly significant was the fact that this year’s proceeds went to the Herne-Wanne animal shelter, which underscores the commitment and social responsibility of the Ajukate team. An important note for anyone interested: the 18th Ajukate Benefit Seminar will take place in Bochum-Wattenscheid in 2026, but it will not be the last of its kind. It is already planned that this valuable event will be continued in a new school and at a different location. The final seminar in Bochum is scheduled for Saturday, 7 February 2026. Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido will actively participate and celebrate this important event together with the visitors.
