Traditionally, the training programme starts with the New Year’s course for all. Unfortunately, the New Year’s course will have to be cancelled in 2025 due to a lack of plannable resources and support. Instead, the trainer course will now take place on Sunday, 12 January 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Carl-Bosch-Hallen in Limburgerhof. It is combined with the trainer education and possible belt examinations. The participants for this are the trainers, as well as registered participants for the assistant trainer training. We kindly ask for prompt registration for planning purposes, by 10 January 2025 at the latest – 8 p.m.! After that, the black belts will meet to discuss the strategic direction for 2025!
In-house training to become a trainer is an exciting and enriching opportunity for many members. This not only promotes the club, but also personal development and professional skills. We have found that a good black belt is not automatically a good trainer. That is why we rely on comprehensive qualifications for our trainers – from assistants to trainers to teachers and masters.
Qualitative training opportunities with the Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Academy
The Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Akademie offers excellent training opportunities directly in the club and in schools. Thanks to the cooperation with the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), various training measures can be offered, including the preliminary qualification TRB-D-License (30 LE) for trainers. This basic qualification is even offered internationally, for example in Sri Lanka!
In cooperation with the Rhineland-Palatinate Sports Federation, we make it possible to complete the training to become a ‘specialist sports instructor’ or to obtain a C-license trainer partially within the club. Of a total of 120 learning units (LE), we offer 90 LE in Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido, while the remaining 30 LE are completed at the Palatinate Sports Federation. In addition, we offer various training courses in cooperation with the sports federation, which can be credited towards the licence renewal for youth and exercise instructors as well as club managers. For experienced trainers, there is also the opportunity to acquire a TRB-B licence (60 LE) in order to become a sensei.
Flexibility and support in setting up a club
In order to be able to react quickly to requests for the opening of new clubs (dojos), we have introduced the TRB-D licence (instructor) in combination with the DOSB instructor/trainer C licence. This enables new trainers to get started quickly. In addition, the TRB-E licence is an excellent way to get to know what it’s like to work as a trainer in an existing club (dojo) and to gain valuable experience.
We are still looking for reinforcements for our team of trainers – both in existing clubs and at new locations. Prepare yourself not only to enrich the club, but also to advance your own development through the trainer education! Let’s grow together and develop the full potential of our community.
