Since June 2024, we have been pleased to announce the introduction of two weekly training days in Ragama Sri Lanka: Tuesday and Sunday. This represents a significant step in promoting Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido, which has been an integral part of our programme for a year now. In addition to Muay Thai Kickboxing and MMA, the focus is increasingly on the tradition and discipline of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido. On Thursday, 7 November 2024, another eagerly awaited training session took place under the direction of Kaushalya Nirmana. Those interested in the art of fighting have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a motivating and educational environment. In Ragama, there is also the Danger Zone Stuntman Academy, where weapon training is particularly emphasised. This specialised training is beneficial for all participants who want to expand their skills in the field of martial arts. For those who cannot be on site, we offer online training directly from the dojo in Germany during holidays, such as the popular ‘Poya Day’. This way, everyone stays connected to the community, no matter where they are. Another highlight are the annual Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido seminars, which not only offer a great opportunity to learn, but also to exchange ideas with like-minded people. In 2024, two samurai camps will take place – after the successful seminar in May, the next event is already scheduled for December. At the same time, a training programme for new instructors is also running in Ragama to spread Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido further into other regions of Sri Lanka. This is an excellent opportunity for committed individuals to get to grips with this martial art and become active as an instructor themselves. Anyone interested in participating or training as an instructor can contact Renil Fernando, Präsident der Sri Lanka Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Kai directly. Take this chance to become part of our growing community and develop your skills in Tatsu-Ryu Bushido!
