Opening of the Sri Lanka Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Kai: A new path in martial arts in the heart of the Indian Ocean

In May 2024, the time had come – the Sri Lanka Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Kai was officially opened! This momentous occasion was graced by none other than Grandmaster Christian Wiederanders from Germany, who had the honour of personally leading the opening ceremony of the first Samurai Camp 2024 in Ragama.

Under the expert guidance of Sensei Renil Fernando, a master with decades of experience in martial arts, this new chapter in the martial arts is actively promoted. The club has set ambitious goals for itself, including training new trainers and opening more schools throughout Sri Lanka. This ensures that the martial art not only remains, but also grows and develops.

An important part of our mission is to ensure a high level of training. Through regular training in the dojo and online, we offer our members optimal development opportunities. We firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their previous knowledge, has the potential to develop in martial arts.
