Not only in Germany, but also in Sri Lanka, over 8,000 kilometres away, we are seeing a remarkable increase in members of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido. This impressive martial arts school in Ragama has been in existence since 2023 and has quickly developed into a place where tradition and modern training come together. Beginners’ training sessions take place on Mondays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. under the expert guidance of Kaushalya Nirmana.

Participants can look forward to a very well-structured training programme that promotes both physical fitness and mental strength. Kaushalya Nirmana has already inspired many new members with his commitment and expertise, introducing them to the principles of Tatsu-Ryu Bushido. In addition to Tatsu-Ryu Bushido training, many participants also discover other exciting offerings such as Muay Thai kickboxing, MMA and yoga. This impressively demonstrates the versatility and comprehensive training concept offered here in Sri Lanka. A particularly interesting highlight is the ‘Danger Zone’ stuntman academy, which is also run by Kaushalya Nirmana. Participants have the opportunity to develop their skills in a creative and dynamic environment.

The training sessions are also conducted under the watchful eyes of Dr Renil Fernando and Christian Wiederanders, who are renowned for their professionalism and dedication. This targeted support ensures that members can enjoy optimal development in the field of martial arts. With the upcoming trainer training course at the beginning of December 2025, we continue to focus on quality and progress. We are proud to see such a vibrant and committed community around Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido, which not only trains physical skills but also promotes friendships and international connections. The expansion of this community in Sri Lanka is an exciting step and we look forward to further developments!
