Three Seito-ho (young students), two from the Waldsee Dojo and one from the Neuhofen Dojo, took their entrance exam in Waldsee on 27 November 2025. Saiko-Shihan Christian Wiederanders tested their basic martial arts skills and theoretical knowledge and formed an impression of the new recruits. The examination went smoothly and all candidates achieved good results. After passing the 8th kyu examination, the Seito (students) were allowed to put on their Gi (fighting uniform) and the Saiko-Shihan presented them with their white belts. Then sake (or in this case tea as a non-alcoholic alternative) is poured for each other – as a symbol that not only the student learns from the teacher, but also the teacher learns from the student. The next opportunity for the student to be presented with a belt by the teacher is the Dan examination, with the award of the black belt. We would like to congratulate Dora Stingl and Alexander Amberg from the Waldsee Dojo and Andreas Anken from the Neuhofen Dojo. They are now all allowed to wear the gi, their club badge and the white belt during training and have been awarded the 8th kyu grade with a certificate.
