On Friday, October 3, 2025, German Unity Day, several motivated bushido practitioners from the Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido clubs in Rhineland-Palatinate accepted an invitation to Neuhofen for a free training and practice session. Everyone was able to ask questions, have techniques explained to them, and then practice. The idea for the event came from trainer Ute Kreischer from Neuhofen, who extended the invitation to other clubs in the region. From advanced practitioners to those who had just become members, everyone got their money’s worth. At the end, a few assistant trainers were given an insight into the world of kendo, which allows Japanese sword fighting to be practiced in full contact under safe conditions. The training session on the public holiday was a welcome change that motivated the members of Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido and should definitely be repeated.
