On 6 August 2025, Rolf Polke and Martin Paetz successfully completed their teaching demonstration for the D licence in Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Limburgerhof. The Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido Licence D Compact with 30 LE is based on the DOSB framework guidelines. Licence D covers topics from the areas of training instructor, youth leader and club manager. In addition, there are at least 15 LE internships as an assistant in training. The licences in Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido are only issued if the teaching demonstration has been completed, a first aid certificate and an extended police clearance certificate have been provided, and the code of honour has been signed. They are valid for four years. They can be extended for four calendar years with 15 teaching units of further training and resubmission of the extended police clearance certificate. Rolf had prepared a segment on strengthening and stretching for more powerful kicks, while Martin had prepared a segment on break falls with a partner. Both teaching demonstrations were observed and evaluated by training manager Christian Wiederanders, who holds IHK and DOSB instructor certificates. Both training sessions were discussed afterwards and commented on by the participants (many thanks to Lance and Ute, who acted as students for the teaching demonstration). With these two newly acquired licences, Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido now has two additional certified instructors in the region. In 2025, the training of six additional assistant trainers will continue, who are also enrolled in the seminar series for the D licence.
