Due to increased demand for prevention courses for kindergarten children, a fully booked Nicht-mit-mir basic course took place on Sunday, 16 November 2025, between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in Limburgerhof in the Carl-Bosch-Hallen, which was attended by 15 children, each accompanied by one adult. The basic course is part of the ‘Nicht mit mir’ basic course and deals with the topics of self-assertion and education. Due to the young age of the participants, the course is also aimed at parents, who can continue to practise and reinforce what they have learned with their children at home. Participants learned methods such as saying ‘no’ loudly and clearly, protecting themselves against slaps, as well as how to fall correctly and free themselves from a grip. At the same time, the first of two days of the advanced course took place for children who had already attended a ‘Nicht mit mir’ basic course. Here, the children can refresh and further deepen what they learned in the basic course. ‘Nicht mit mir – Schütz dich vor Gewalt!’ (Not with me – protect yourself from violence!) is a multi-award-winning, nationwide and nationally standardised prevention, self-assertion and self-defence concept for children and young people. Only trained, licensed and professionally competent course instructors with the relevant experience teach the concept to course participants in an age- and target group-oriented manner. The next basic course will take place in February/March 2026!
