Anyone who would like to work as an assistant, instructor or trainer at Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido must meet clear requirements that go beyond pure martial arts training. In order to ensure the high quality standard of our training and to guarantee the professionalism of our instructors, an additional qualification is essential. The additional qualifications cover various fundamental topics that are of great importance for the role of a trainer:

• – Anatomy: A deep understanding of human anatomy is crucial for preventing injuries and designing effective training sessions.
• – Didactics and methodology: Knowing how to convey content effectively and take different learning styles into account is essential for every trainer. Here, participants learn how to structure their knowledge and present it in a targeted manner.
• – Learning: The fundamentals of the psychological aspects of learning are discussed in order to best support trainees in their progress and development.
• – Insurance law: A comprehensive understanding of the legal framework and insurance coverage protects not only the trainers, but also the participants.

In addition to theory, the Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido promotion path also requires practical evidence:

• – Extended certificate of good conduct: Regular presentation of an extended certificate of good conduct is necessary to gain the trust of participants and ensure a safe training environment.
• – Code of honour: Trainers are required to adhere to a code of honour that defines ethical standards and behaviour within the community.
• – First aid qualification: Thorough first aid training is mandatory in order to be able to react quickly and appropriately in emergencies.
• – Internships: Practical experience is essential in order to put the theories learned into practice and to continuously improve one’s own skills.
