Due to high demand for prevention courses for children, we have added 10 places to basic course no. 35 (primary school children) in September and added another basic course, no. 36, for the first time for the 10 to 15 age group. Both courses will take place on three separate days, Fridays 12, 19 and 26 September, in the Carl Bosch Gymnasium in Limburgerhof and in the outdoor area. These courses are for children only, without parents or visitors, and can be booked on the website nicht-mit-mir.training. ‘Nicht mit mir – Schütz dich vor Gewalt!’ (Not with me – protect yourself from violence!) is a multi-award-winning, nationwide and standardised prevention, self-assertion and self-defence concept for children and young people. Only trained, licensed and professionally competent course instructors with relevant experience teach the concept to course participants in a manner appropriate to their age and target group. This includes regularly requesting an extended police clearance certificate from all course instructors. The courses are designed to help children avoid danger, recognise dangerous situations and defend themselves in an emergency. With our violence prevention project, we want to help children and young people grow into self-confident, strong individuals.
