On Friday, 12 September 2025, two new Nicht-mit-mir-Grundkurs courses started in Limburgerhof, teaching children violence prevention, self-assertion and realistic self-defence techniques. The courses, which were once again fully booked, took place in parallel, so that certified and nationally recognised course instructors Julia Arz and Christian Wiederanders welcomed a total of 32 interested participants aged between 6 and 11 on the first day of the course. At the beginning of the three-day course, the most important techniques were demonstrated and then practised in the gym and schoolyard: saying ‘stop’, the passive block against a slap and how to fall safely on stone flooring. In addition, a child-friendly way of freeing oneself from a grip was demonstrated. ‘Not with me – protect yourself from violence!’ is a multi-award-winning, Germany-wide and nationally standardised prevention, self-assertion and self-defence concept for children and young people. Only trained, licensed and professionally competent course instructors with the relevant experience teach the concept to course participants in an age- and target group-oriented manner. This also includes regularly checking the extended police clearance certificates of all course instructors. The courses are designed to help children avoid dangers, recognise dangerous situations and defend themselves in an emergency. With our violence prevention project, we want to help children and young people grow into self-confident, strong personalities. The new dates for courses scheduled for November will follow by the end of September and will be published on the homepage for registration as usual!

🇬🇧 Joint conclusion of ‘Not with me’ with parents, followed by a samurai taster session

On Sunday, 5 October, we would like to conclude the Nicht-mit-mit (NIMI) basic course NR35 together with the parents. Between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., the children can practise what they have learned without their parents before the joint conclusion takes place at 11:00 a.m. in the Carl-Bosch-Halle Limburgerhof. This is also a good opportunity for children who were unable to attend a previous course day. The whole event will last approximately 60 minutes. Afterwards, from approximately 12:30 to 13:30, the children will have the opportunity to participate in a free trial lesson of Samurai, the Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido, together with their parents. We want to offer cake/muffins again on site in addition to coffee and drinks and look forward to your support. Please direct any questions to Angela and Julia!
